Kenny Kenny Kenny

Tribe wins! Tribe wins!

The mayor of Cleveland Kenny Lofton set the tone last night with a two run shot in the bottom of the second and Jake Westbrook pitched lights out (minus one mistake to Jason Varitek) to lead the Tribe to victory. Also the play of the night came in the first inning when the Indians were in the Papi shift and pulled a 4-5-3 double play, to get out of the inning, with third basemen Casey Blake masterfully covering second. The most underrated play of the game had to be Pronk beating out the double play, in the 5th, to allow Grady to score putting 4 runs on the board.

Cleveland now leads the series 2-1 with a great chance to get out to a 3-1 lead against the knuckleballer Tim Wakefield (this is assuming the Red Sox stick with their rotation and don't sneak Josh Beckett in on short rest). Paul Byrd looks to bring the same magic he had against the evil empire to the mound for the Tribe tonight.

And since it worked so well last night,

Final Score Tribe 7 Red Sox 4.
