ALCS Game 3

Game 3 tonight at the Jake 7:00 PM. The Tribe sends Jake Westbrook to the mound to face Dice-K in a crucial match up. I have read that people (Dan Shanoff) think game 2 was the pivotal game of the series, I on the other hand think the team that can take this game will be in the drivers seat for the rest of the series. That being said I think this game is more important for the Tribe than it is for the Sox. Boston will still get to send pitching wunderkind Josh Beckett to the mound two more times in this series and if he can keep to his playoff norm that should be two more wins for the Red Sox. Therefore the Tribe needs to make sure they don't end up in a Game 7 situation in Boston with Beckett on the mound.

The Indians bats better be ready to put up some runs tonight, in game 3 of the ALDS the Yankees had their way with Westbrook leading to their only win of the series. Hopefully pitching in the friendly confines of Jacobs Field will help calm Westbrook down and let him pitch like the dominant pitcher we know he can be.

Final Score Tribe 7 Red Sox 4.
