For the love of God and all that is Holy don’t start Paul Byrd

What is that you say? He stepped in and kept the Yankees in check. Well score one for keeping the rotation intact.

Just for the record I was on the start Paul Byrd bandwagon the whole time. Maybe he had not had the best record vs. the Yankees but pitching on three days rest after you did not have the best outing of all time is also a risky proposition. Thank you for the example Mr. Wang.

Now the Tribe gets to start the ALCS with the one-two punch of Shaqbathia and Carmona and Wedgie looks like a genius.

The best part of what happened is Wedge got his 4 starters the ball during the first series giving them all time to get some work in under pressure situations. With the first two games in Boston, Westbrook and Byrd will be pitching in the friendly confines of the Jake. If the Tribe can continue to score runs with two outs the way they did against the Yankees I like their chances with Boston.

Should be a great series.

Indians in 7

For the NLCS

Rockies in 5 (why you ask, they have only lost one of their last 467,983 games and it was to the D-backs, so the D-backs can have one)
