Scrimshaw
This week's beer of the week is a fine effort out of North Coast Brewing Co. Scrimshaw is a fine pilsner brewed in a European tradition. It has won a World Beer Championship Silver metal as recently as 2006. Scrimshaw will no wow you to the point that you think you will never want to drink another type of beer for the rest of your life, but it is very drinkable and smooth. It is subtle enough to experiment with even if you are drinking with your friends with the least beer drinking experience.
